Welcome to Bergen’s biggest clothing swap event! Here you'll find good quality second hand clothes in all sizes and types, shoes and accessories. The swap café is opened with coffee and homemade cakes. Don't forget to drop by the repair café where we'll help you repair (or adjust) any clothes you brought with you or found at the swap.
When: November 24th, 12.00 - 17.00
Where: Bergen Kjøtt (Skutevikstorget 1)
Tickets (50-100KR): clothingswapbergen.ticketco.events
How does it work?
Dive into your closet and collect a max. of 7 clothing items, shoes, bags/purses or jewelry. At the swap, you will receive points for each item, depending on its type and quality. Next, take your time to look through our well-stocked racks for some nice items and pay for them with the points you received. The clothes you brought will be made available for newly arriving swappers and you’ll leave with your newly swapped outfit! As we have our own stock, there are clothes available from the very beginning. Note: You can bring any points received at former events.
Repair cafe
Repair your own clothes at the repair cafe. Our experienced volunteers will help you make small repairs, like attaching a button, closing a hole, or replacing a zipper. The workshop is included in the entrance fee. The amount of repairs you can do depends on how busy it will be.

BERGEN KJØTT:
/// ACCESS
Bergen Kjøtt is an old factory and is working to facilitate better access roads. There’s an entrance at street level, with accessibility for service dogs. There are toilet facilities for all genders that are wheelchair accessible. Escorts have free admission, but must register in advance. For more information check www.bergenkjott.org/kontakt.
/// WELCOME
Bergen Kjøtt actively supports an anti-racist, inclusive environment for all genders, backgrounds and functional abilities, which does not tolerate any form of harassment or discrimination.
In our mission to promote slow fashion, Clothing Swap Bergen wants to create a community and environment where repair and handmade creation are in focus. The sewing club is a monthly social gathering where all participants work on their own projects. There is no instructor, but we help each other along the way. Sewing machines and basic materials are provided, as well as good music, tea, coffee and some light snacks.
All meetings are on Wednesdays, from 19.00-22.00 at Manufakturhuset. In fall 2023 there's two groups:
Group 1: August 16, September 13, October 11, November 15, December 13
Group 2: August 23, September 20, October 18, November 22, December 20
The sewing club is now full! Register here for a spot on the waiting list.
