Introducing the Clothing Swap Bergen sewing club! In our mission to promote slow fashion, we want to create a community and environment where repair and handmade creation are in focus. The sewing club is a monthly social gathering where all participants work on their own projects. There is no instructor, but we help each other along the way. A passion for slow fashion can compensate for any lack of experience. Sewing machines and basic materials are provided, as well as good music, tea, coffee and some light snacks.
All meetings are on Wednesdays, from 19.00-22.00 at Strømgaten 1. Dates: January 11, February 8, March 8, April 12, Mai 10, June 14
We ask for a contribution to cover some of the costs of organising the sewing club, materials and snacks. Participation also includes use of the location, sewing machines and tools. Volunteers with Clothing Swap Bergen pay 200kr and non-volunteers pay 400kr for the period January – June 2023.
